Styling luxurious bold Grazing Tables and creating voluptuous, elegant food displays layered with beautiful boards and stands is where Brie & Banquet’s artfulness is fully expressed. It's about beautiful abundance and lavish layers of flavors. It's an opportunity for your guests to try many inspiring, locally curated ingredients, unexpected pairings and choose their own adventure all while presenting in a romantic, bounteous and highly stylized way.
Grazing Tables bring us together, a very social, interactive way to share a meal with our guests and connect us to each other and our food.
How it works:
Grazing tables and special event displays start at $385 for 18” x 48” (or 864 sq/inches) of grazing. This opening size serves 30 people a generous appetizer or “into the evening” grazing portion. Serving sizes increase by 10 people and add an additional 12” to the length of the display (ex: 40ppl = 18” x 60”, 50ppl = 18” x 72”…)
Table ingredients are vast and varied, seasonal, local and/or small batch when possible, and include a selection of cheeses, meats/charcuterie, olives/antipasti, pickles, jams and jellies, fresh and dried fruit, nuts, crudites, crackers, breads, dips and spreads, crunchy snacks, a few sweet treats and fun surprise snacks. Brie & Banquet offers vegetarian and vegan options. Vegan pricing is +10% as it takes additional time to source and curate the best quality vegan selections.
Grazing Tables require a flat, stable service and at least 2.5 hours of uninterrupted time in the event space to build the Grazing Table before your event starts. We’re happy to work with your event planner, personal style, event themes and individual needs.
Included with all Grazing Table bookings is a brief consultation, table display-ware rental, delivery & set up onsite within Calgary.
Re-service and replenishing can be added for an additional charge and ensures that your table looks full and fabulous for hours. Please request this service during your consultation.
What’s not included: take-down or clean-up, napkins, serving plates, cheese knifes, serving spoons or utensils of any kind, food picks, table linens or pickup of the display-ware. Rinsed display-ware must be returned to our Inglewood office within 2 days of your event or we can pick it up at a cost of $30.
To secure your booking date a non-refundable $200 deposit is required. The balance must be paid later than 7 days before your event date to allow adequate time for ingredient sourcing. A refundable $150 display-ware deposit is also due at the time of balance payment for all Grazing Table bookings and will be refunded once the display-ware has been safely returned.
Events outside of Calgary may have a small charge for out of town set up. Depending on the size of the event and location, this charge may be waived.
Keep it simple and cohesive by having us select and include fresh florals, plates & napkins.
Fresh floral pieces add so much to the overall look of a Grazing Table adding incredible colour, texture and height variation without distracting from the stunning display of food. We work with local florists to make beautiful seasonal pieces to suit your event and the food styling. 2 small floral pieces +$50, 3 small floral pieces +$65, 5 small floral pieces +$100. This cost is for floral rental only, the pieces must be cared for and will be returned with the Grazing Table display-ware within 2 days.
Simple, single-use appetizer plates, cocktail napkins and wood food picks can be added for $1/person and will be styled near your grazing table.
Please note: we will only setup and include holders and display-ware for flowers, plates, napkins and food picks that we provide.
